Race School Ireland is committed to ensuring that all its customers enjoy driving experiences of the highest quality which are safe, exciting and value for money. Whether a novice driver or experienced professional, we want you to feel welcome at our venue and to enjoy expert tuition from licensed instructors. Race School Ireland is the only fully licensed racing school in Ireland and is approved by the Motor Sport Association and the Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS).
Our terms of business have been carefully written to ensure that there are no misunderstandings that could detract from your enjoyment. These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of our driving and passenger courses, including sales by way of gift vouchers. They supplement the information contained on our website or in any printed literature and notices and instructions that are published or provided at our venues or by our staff.
Courses are booked on a first come first served basis. Race School Ireland will attempt to notify customers of any postponement prior to their arrival at the circuit, but this may not always be possible. Course holders are advised to phone the Race School Ireland booking office 028 9050 7010 at least 48 hours in advance of their course to confirm that the course will run as planned. All participants must wear flat shoes or trainers and trousers. As demand for courses is always high, course holders are advised to contact Race School Ireland three months before they wish to attend.
1. Race School Ireland reserves the right to cancel any course due to unforeseen circumstances including adverse weather conditions. In that event, the course holders are advised to contact the Race School Ireland office to arrange an alternative date.
2. Vouchers are valid for twenty four months. Full payment is required at time of booking. Courses include a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 if cancelled within the first month of purchase. Thereafter, all courses are non-refundable and must be used by the expiry date printed on the course voucher. Vouchers are only transferable by prior agreement of Race School Ireland.
3. Due the high demand for course, Race School Ireland recommend that a course holder books at least three months before the expiry date printed on their voucher.
4. Any course holder who fails to attend a pre booked course, without having provided at least 72 hours prior notice to Race School Ireland, will render their course null and void.
5. RACE SCHOOL IRELAND reserves the right to refuse voucher holder admittance to a course, if RACE SCHOOL IRELAND deem the voucher holder to be unsuitable, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Do not consume alcohol and/or take any drugs which may impair your ability to participate in the activity, either before or during the activity. We may refuse participation in an activity to anyone we suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (whether prescribed or otherwise).
6. RACE SCHOOL IRELAND reserves the right to stop a voucher holders course at any stage, if RACE SCHOOL IRELAND deem the driving of the voucher holder unsuitable on safety grounds.
7. Under any circumstances, Race School Ireland maximum liability to any course holder is limited to the cost of the course.
8. It is desirable that all drivers must be a minimum of 17 years of age, be capable of driving a manual gearbox car and be in possession of a current driving licence, which must be produced when they sign on for their course.
9. Whilst we pride ourselves on our safety standards, the very nature of our driving experiences means that, despite us taking all reasonable precautions, some personal risk of injury is involved in taking part in the activities we offer. By attending our driving experiences, participants acknowledge this and confirm that they are aware of the nature of the activity and attend the venue at their own risk. It is a condition of participation in our activities that the driver signs a declaration acknowledging this prior to taking part in the activity, and will be assumed to have made themselves fully aware of the contents of the indemnity prior to signing it.
10. Due to size restrictions with our single seater cars people of non average height or build should contact Race School Ireland prior to purchase of a voucher or attendance for their course.
11. If a voucher holder damages a vehicle during a course, the course will be terminated at that point. There is an excess of £500 applies for any driver damaging a car. However this can be negated with full voluntary vehicle insurance cover, which is an additional £20.00. This can be paid for (a) at the time of purchase of the Gift Voucher, (b) when the booking date is confirmed or (c) on the actual race day with the Co-ordinator at Sign on. It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure they have taken out the insurance before they go out for the Saloon Car Assessment.
12. Vouchers that have expired within three months of the expiry date printed on the voucher can be reactivated for a further term. A fee of 50% of the current course price will be charged for reactivating the voucher.
13. Spectators are welcome.
